Interesting argument:
Ham acted shamefully by not immediately looking away when he stumbled upon his father’s unclothed body when Noah lay in a drunken stupor. Because he deliberately looked, a curse fell upon Ham’s descendants, but a blessing upon Noah’s other sons, who sought to preserve Noah’s decency by covering their father without looking at his body (Genesis 9:20-27). It’s a thing of great shame for a son to see his father naked. How much more should seeing other people naked be an act of indecency.
Thus, we can determined that nudity before a person of the opposite gender or same gender is a sin, family or not. The only excusable reason for nakedness is in proper sexual relationships. Even in Heaven, when all things are restored to perfection, we will still be clothed; even the angels hide their faces from God's glory. There will be no return to the nakedness of Eden.
Why then is it common practice for a women to be examined by a male doctor, naked? Is this practice unfounded in God's word? Are doctors and OBGYNs considered immune from the lust of the flesh?
Throughout the Bible, women who are pregnant or giving birth are care for by nurses and midwives.
Did God intend women to assist other women with these types of medical situations? Or do we have the right to seek medical help from a man when a women is unavailable?
The common argument is: "they've seen it so many times, they are immune to is." Do we say the same things to individuals who are addicted to pornography? Do they become less affected by the lust of the flesh the more they look at nude photos?
The more one looks at nakedness, the less affected you will become by the lust of the flesh. It's all business, or is it? These doctors once decided to go to school to be an obstetrician/gynecologist in order to examine women in intimate areas. Who does this? Jeremiah 17:9 reads, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” Are we to trust that male doctors who are examining women are trustworthy and exempt from God's Word? Is it likewise for a women to examine a naked man, are we just fooling ourselves in the name of medicine and tradition?
Have these doctors committed adultly with their patience?
Matthew 5:8 reads: "But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart."
Too severe?
